Half Day Tour In Athens
Athens – The city of Pericle’s Golden Age, the capital of Greece, the country that gave birth to democracy, the country that stands out for its history and culture. At every step on the Acropolis, on every piece of marble in the Parthenon, at the Erechtheion and at Propylea, the traveler can get a “taste” of Greece.
The first stop of our Athens tour will be at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is a true cultural landmark for the city. You will have enough time for photos. We are going to continue with the main sights of the city, such as the Zappeion Mansion, an example of architecture and history, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Trilogy of Athens that includes the University and the Academy of Athens and the National Library.
We could not forget the National Garden, which has a vital importance to the city, the Adrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, the Parliament, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Schliemann House (Monetary Museum), and the Catholic Cathedral, the Old Parliament, Syntagma Square, the Russian Orthodox Church and the sacred rock of the Acropolis.
Next, we will visit the “neighborhood of Gods”, also known as Plaka, an old historical area, near Acropolis. Before we finish our city tour, we will head to Lycabettus hill to admire the panoramic view. Everything looks more beautiful from high above.
